After 5 years of keeping a low profile, the Nasyid Hijjaz group finally resurfaced, bringing new life to the song by Tan Sri P Ramlee titled “Tiada Kata Secantik Bahasa (TKSB) 2020”. The group Hijjaz is made up of artists – Munif Ahmad, Isman Nadim Isam, Mohd Faizal Osman, and Muhammad Ariff Rahim. The TKSB 2020 is a collaboration between them and three renowned talents – the rap duo, Kmy Kmo, and Luca Sickta as well as Pasya, a former TV show contestant (Realiti Mentor).

Hijjaz has brought a fresh element to this song and incorporated the element of “Rock Nasyid Rap” (RNR). Hijjaz member, Isman Nadim Isam came up with the idea of recreating the TKSB 2020 and got the inspiration to create this song when he was in Madinah; he is also the songwriter and producer of the song. Isman said that they had to bring Pasya in to bring in the rock element to the song to make it more attractive. Isman claimed that everyone just had great chemistry working together, it did not even take 5 hours to complete record the music video.

“It’s been a while since we launched a new single. Thinking back, new songs might take some time for listeners to accept it. Today, most singers do not prefer to create an album, rather they prefer to launch singles, and when publishing a new single, it definitely needs a wow factor. The song from Tan Sri P Ramlee was chosen because it is already a favourite of most Malaysians. We have received great feedback when showcasing this song to older people, some of them even teared. We aren’t afraid of being criticized for what we are doing as it is not wrong. We just want to express our unique music,” Isman said.
