The Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2023 was proudly hosted by D’Touch International Sdn Bhd and co-organized by MyShoppo Sdn Bhd for its National Final Coronation Night on the 13th of October 2023 at Berjaya Times Square Hotel, Kuala Lumpur. The spectacular event was set to dazzle and captivate the audiences in a show extravaganza performed by the 18 finalists.
This pageant is more than crowning beauties, it serves as a platform that showcases the rich tapestry of Malaysia’s diverse states. By highlighting Tourism, Culture, and Friendship, Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2023 contributes to the broader effort of promoting local tourism.
The finalists have had their hands full leading up to the National Finals with their engagement in a mixture of tourism and charitable activities. From exploring Coach Airways to enjoying the deals at Freeport A’Famosa Outlet, experiencing the wonders of Safari Wonderland, and being enchanted by the scenery of King’s Park Genting Highlands, the finalists have embraced the spirit of Malaysia’s beauty and hospitality.
As a part of their initiative to promote the pageant with Caring Heart, the 18 finalists have also participated in charity visits to the Ti-Ratana Welfare Society and the Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund. The young children and senior citizens were delighted to receive the finalists as well as essential items while residing in their homes.
Dr. Raja Putra Shah, Advisor of International Entrepreneur Chamber Malaysia graced the audience with his presence at the National Final. The wonderful evening was to witness the 18 outstanding finalists compete for three prestigious titles: Miss Malaysia Tourism 2023, Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2023, and Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2023.
Along with cash prizes and sponsored gifts valued to be RM117,000, the top three winners will earn the coveted crowns as an honor. Eligible finalists who meet specific entry requirements will receive scholarships from Peninsula College worth RM25,000.
The winner of Miss Malaysia Tourism 2023 will assume the crucial role of representing Malaysia to the 26th Miss Tourism International 2023 World Final that will be held from the 10th – 27th November 2023 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) in Kota Kinabalu Sabah.
As a representative of the country, the winner will be responsible for promoting Malaysia’s Tourism as part of the 50 participating international delegates from across the world. The crowning of Miss Tourism International 2023 is scheduled for the 25th of November 2023.
