Intermark Mall marked the Chinese New Year with a distinguished theme, Vintage Lunar Splendour, bringing the luxurious ambiance of Old Shanghai to life. The Ground Floor Atrium was transformed into an immersive space, reflecting the grandeur of the Bund’s golden era, offering a unique experience that combined historical sophistication with cultural richness.
The festivities were highlighted with vibrant Lion Dance performances and live Golden Tunes performances by Serena See, alongside engaging workshops such as traditional DIY Rouge Making by Sutekina Handmade. Visitors also enjoyed a premium makeover and photography session at YoungGeneration Studio’s Makeover Studio.

Further elevating the Chinese New Year experience, the mall introduced a Chinese New Year Market, running until 16th February, featuring festive offerings and exclusive gifts from top retailers like Jaya Grocer, Hank’s, Living Circles Concept, and Malaysia’s renowned couturier Carven Ong. In support of sustainability, the mall invited visitors to donate used fabric at collection bins located at the Concierge, which will be upcycled by Ong into stylish pouches for sale during the Raya season, showcasing the mall’s commitment to cultural preservation and environmental responsibility.
Additionally, shoppers are being rewarded with exclusive perks throughout the festive season. Those spending RM188 (RM150 for Public Bank cardholders) in a single receipt will receive a limited-edition Ang Pow packet while those who spend RM388 (RM288 for Public Bank cardholders) enjoy special edition cups with two new designs released bi-weekly. Shoppers spending RM688 or more will receive a complimentary Vintage Lunar Splendour makeover and photography session valued at RM790 (limited to the first five shoppers every Friday and Saturday). A special rate of RM88 is offered to those spending RM388 and above for the same service. The top spender will also receive a Family Portrait Session valued at RM2,988.
