emart24, Bangsar South

Artisanal Korean convenience store, emart24, has made its way to Malaysia and redefines the stereotypical white-walled convenience store. Having its first Reserve Store in Bangsar South, emart24 offers a variety of Korean street food, aromatic coffee, and exclusive Korean snacks, as well as an extensive K-beauty range all in a lifestyle-first concept.

Variety of food options at emart24

emart24 is recognized as being Korea’s fastest-growing convenience store, expanding over 5,500 stores in just 7 years of its establishment. In Malaysia, emart24 is expected to open 300 stores over the next 5 years. emart24’s first General Store in Malaysia will be located in Hartamas and will be operational very soon. In Korea, emart24 is operated by Shinsegae Group, who are constantly making improvements by adopting innovative ideas, such as self-checkout kiosks and purchase tracking to enhance the customer experience.

Innovation is also what drives the Reserve Store concept – featuring markedly larger spaces, customised interiors, and a distinct character for each store. In terms of food safety and quality, it tops it all with the use of fresh food and ready-to-eat meals that are sourced from Halal-certified suppliers.

Customers can also enjoy a wide array of cosmetics, personal care and even fragrances. These are made available through a strategic collaboration with OnlyKorea, an authorised distributor of authentic imported K-beauty products, slated to be one of the leading K-beauty retailing groups in Asia.

The brand, recognized for its consumer-first approach in Korea, is an ideal fit for us here in Malaysia and we felt that the time was right for a more progressive approach to convenience stores in our country.”
