Persatuan Industri Komputer dan Multimedia Malaysia (PIKOM), Malaysia’s National Tech Association, has launched the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards (PDEA), a prestigious program designed to recognize groundbreaking innovations, exceptional leadership, and impactful contributions across the digital technology ecosystem.
Since its inception in 1989, PIKOM has been at the forefront of celebrating outstanding contributions to Malaysia’s tech industry through the renowned PIKOM Unicorn Tech Awards.
Alex Liew, PIKOM Deputy Chairman and PDEA Organising Chair mentioned, “The PIKOM Digital Excellence Award 2024 promises to set new benchmarks in recognizing innovation, leadership, and impact in the digital tech community. We invite all technology industry players to showcase their excellence by nominating themselves or their organizations in one or more of the 13 Corporate Award Categories and 4 Individual Award Categories.”
Winners of the PDEA gain industry-wide recognition and credibility, leveraging the awards as a prominent platform to showcase their expertise and innovations to industry leaders and potential investors. This recognition elevates brand awareness and media exposure, enhancing market presence significantly.
Nominees will be evaluated based on criteria such as technological innovation, revenue growth, profitability, strategic vision, and industry leadership. The judging panel consists of respected industry veterans and experts, ensuring rigorous assessment based on extensive knowledge and experience.
The highlight of the program is the PIKOM Digital Excellence Awards Night scheduled for 5 September 2024 at Sunway Resort Hotel, promising a gala event to celebrate the pinnacle of Malaysia’s digital tech industry achievements.
