In hopes of injecting exciting performance and adding versatility, Harley-Davidson recently announced that the new Low Rider ST and more powerful Low Rider S models are joining the 2022 Cruiser motorcycle line-up, with prices starting from RM 115,900. Both motorcycles come with the taut handling performance of the Harley-Davidson Softail chassis and the V-Twin muscle of a Milwaukee-Eight 117 powertrain.
For the rider who seeks unapologetic power, the Low Rider S 117 is designed as an aggressive performance kingpin. On the other hand, the new Low Rider ST model offers the versatility of hard bags and a fixed fairing. Both models offer a lean, performance-comes-first posture that defines California West Coast custom style.
The new models were first unveiled at the global virtual launch experience “Further. Faster.” on 26 January 2022. On 11 and 12 June, Malaysian Harley-Davidson authorized dealerships hosted an Open House for the customers to view the new motorcycle models up close at their nearest dealerships.
“Powered by the engine, the new Low Rider S and Low Rider ST are upgraded with power and performance enhancements for an unadulterated riding experience. The cruiser line is an all-time favorite and we believe that the new models will resonate well with our customers in Malaysia. Customers can now ride further, faster.” said Sajeev Rajasekharan, Managing Director, Asia Emerging Markets & India at Harley-Davidson.
