History was made at the Andaman Grand Ballroom on June 11, as Eva Moses from Papar, Sabah, was crowned the grand champion of the inaugural Miss Borneo International 2026 pageant.
The debut event brought together cultural heritage and modern empowerment on a single stage. Amanda Ho from Selangor secured the first runner-up spot, while Ang Sey Im from Kuala Krai, Kelantan, emerged as the second runner-up.
In the concurrent Elegance Universal category, Melaka’s Sophia Low bt Abdullah claimed the championship title. She was followed by first runner-up Grace Zhang of China and second runner-up Diana Emma, also representing Papar, Sabah.
The top three winners across both categories walked away with prize packages valued at RM30,000, RM20,000, and RM10,000 respectively.

The Guest of Honor, YM Tengku Dato’ Dr Hishammuddin Zaizi, commended the organizing committee’s dedication to bringing this vision to life in the capital city.
“Miss Borneo International 2026 is more than a beauty pageant—it is a platform that celebrates confidence, leadership, cultural diversity, and the empowerment of women across Borneo,” Tengku Dato’ Dr Hishammuddin noted during his address.
Sabrina Chiang, Founder & License Holder of the pageant and Founder of Diamond Crown Agency, highlighted the grander vision behind the competition.
