As part of RWG’s 60th anniversary and Diamond Jubilee celebration, Resorts World Genting (RWG) has launched two new initiatives: the Genting Culinary Classic 2025 and the Tourist Privilege Program. These programs aim to strengthen Malaysia’s position as a key destination for tourism and hospitality while supporting the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign.
The Genting Culinary Classic 2025, taking place from 10-11 June 2025 at the Genting International Showroom (GISR), is designed to showcase culinary talent with a focus on Malaysian cuisine. In partnership with the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA), the competition provides a professional platform for chefs, restaurant professionals, and food enthusiasts.

A panel of five industry experts, including celebrity chefs and food critics, will assess participants based on quality, innovation, and creativity. Twenty finalists will compete, with the Grand National Winner receiving RM25,000 and an opportunity to feature their dish at RWG’s dining outlets.
Running until 31 December 2025, the Tourist Privilege Program offers international visitors exclusive discounts, promotions, and welcome gifts. Tourists can redeem these benefits by presenting a valid international passport at the SkyAvenue Info Counter (Level 1). With a limited number of gifts available daily, the program is structured to drive engagement among international visitors.
