At the official announcement of ‘Behind the Shadows’
One Cool Film (M) Sdn Bhd and Wishart Media Co., Ltd has teamed up for the maiden production of an action suspense movie – ‘Behind The Shadows,’ in partnership with Filmforce Studio. Starring the award-winning actor Louis Koo, Golden Horse Award best supporting actor Liu Kuan-Ting, Chrissie Chau, Raymond Wong Ho-yin, Renci Yeung, Eddie Cheung Siu Fai, Yumi Wong, Auguste Kwan Teik Hooi and Chan Phei Yong and others, this movie will bring together talents and resources from both Hong Kong and Malaysia; expanding the film markets with more excitement.
Filming the movie ‘Behind The Shadows’ is OneCool’s first step to venture into the market in Malaysia by mobilizing close to 100 Malaysian actors and crew members. The filming will be done in the heart of Kuala Lumpur with the main cast expected to remain in Malaysia until mid-October.
‘Behind The Shadows’ is directed by Johathan Li, a nominee of the 37th Hong Kong Academy Awards, with Chou Man Yu, screen writer of Sons of the Neon Night and produced by Cheang Pou-Soi. The movie is based on a bizarre murder where a half-baked private detective entangles with a real criminal for the first time. An unpredictable, cold-blooded hunter is on the loose and enjoys the thrill of going after his prey.
