Held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Center from 28 April to 1 May 2023, the ASEAN Senior Care & Wellness Expo (AGExpo) returned for its second edition, held concurrently with the Home Design and Interior Exhibition (HOMEDEC). At AGExpo, the growing need for senior lifestyle care and wellness solutions were addressed and together with HOMEDEC, they created a dynamic synergy that offered the ultimate experience for homeowners, design enthusiasts, and senior citizens alike.

During the opening ceremony, Dato’ Vincent Lim, Organizer of AGExpo said, “The silver-haired economy can be a boon to our country. There are huge opportunities on the horizon if we choose to act now to create a better tomorrow as all of us age.”

YB Dato’ Sri Hajah Nancy Shukri, Minister of Women, Family & Community Development (KPWKM), officiated the prestigious occasion – demonstrating the commitment of the Malaysia government to promote a better quality of life for our senior citizens and their families.

YB Dato’ Sri Nancy Shukri said, “Let us work together to build a nation that truly cares, where everyone has access to quality healthcare and support services especially older persons. Together, we can pave the way for a brighter and more prosperous future for Malaysia.”

AGExpo, jointly organized with the National Council of Senior Citizens Organisation Malaysia (NACSCOM) and in collaboration with the Malaysian Coalition on Ageing (MCOA), showcased emerging products and services in the professional fields of aged care, lifestyle, wellness, and healthcare industries.

The expo provided attendees with multiple activities such as the exhibition for those seeking knowledge and insights into senior  care and well being; a half day Concurrent Conference where industry experts shared their knowledge on various crucial topics related to health; a segment called Expert Says where expert speakers educated the attendees on valuable knowledge on a variety of topics related to integrative medicine, equipment selection, legacy planning, and the future of healthcare and home safety; and many more.
