In Malaysia, the celebrations go beyond the cinema halls. Special fan screenings will take place in selected venues in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Johor, featuring limited-edition collectables such as commemorative A4 posters, ticket stubs, button badges, seed cards, and exclusive collectable cards. With only limited quantities available, these items are expected to become sought-after keepsakes among fans.
One of the highlights of the Malaysian screenings will be the exhibition of Toshio Suzuki’s original handwritten message. This rare piece offers both a personal tribute to Princess Mononoke and a gesture of gratitude to Malaysian fans, giving audiences the chance to see an intimate creation from one of Studio Ghibli’s key figures.
