The Miss CosmoWorld 2024 Grand Final unfolded in grand style on November 20, 2024, at the renowned St. Regis Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. Bringing together 32 contestants from across the globe, the highly anticipated event offered a remarkable RM1,000,000 prize pool and celebrated themes of resilience, diversity, and female empowerment.
The lead-up to the grand finale began with a press conference on November 14, 2024, at Hyatt Place Kuala Lumpur, Bukit Jalil, the event’s official venue sponsor. This occasion underscored the pageant’s broader mission of fostering global unity and empowering women, highlighting its significance beyond the realm of beauty.
Miss CosmoWorld founder, Ms. Carrie Lee Sze Kei, shared her inspiring journey from her early days as a beauty queen at the age of 17 to creating a platform that redefines beauty and celebrates ambition, resilience, and strength. Transforming the pageant from a modest venture with a single staff member into an internationally recognized event, Ms. Carrie continues to champion the empowerment of women.

Beyond the pageant stage, Ms. Carrie’s commitment to social initiatives is evident. In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Bandar Utama, she organized a renowned badminton tournament and AED/CPR training sessions at her White Fairy Futsal & Badminton Court. These activities, involving all 32 contestants, promoted health, safety, and national sports. Additionally, the contestants participated in a two-day cultural exchange trip to Malacca, where they explored historical sites, savored local cuisine, and supported efforts to promote Tourism Malaysia.
At the grand finale, Ms. Carrie delivered an inspiring speech reflecting on her vision for Miss CosmoWorld. The event also featured addresses by distinguished guests, Y.M. Tengku Dato’ Dr. Hishammuddin Zaizi bin Y.A.M. Tengku Bendahara Azman Shah Al-Haj, Patron of CosmoWorld, and Y.B. Senator Datuk Seri Dr. Zurainah Binti Musa, who graced the evening as Guests of Honor.
