South Korea’s famous bakery cafe – Paris Baguette has officially opened its doors to the public at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur. The store marks its first in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and the fifth market in the region through a partnership with Berjaya Food Berhad and Paris Baguette Singapore PLC.

The iconic brand hosted its first store grand opening event with guests of honor in attendance, YB Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub, Minister of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living, H.E. Mr. Yeo Seung-bae, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Malaysia, and YBhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Vincent Tan, Chairman, Berjaya Corporation Berhad.

The origins of Paris Baguette were formed in 1945, in the heart of a small bakery in South Korea named Sangmidang. Continuing the legacy, Paris Baguette until today embraces the spirit of Sangmidang, which is to not leave a single piece of bread unchecked- signifying utmost quality in its products and services.

Customers are now able to experience a unique offering of European-inspired pastries, bread, cakes, hot foods, and desserts, including the Signature Mushroom Soup in Bread Bowl, Signature Natural Yeast Bread, Fresh Yogurt Cream Cake, Mr & Ms. Bear Madelaine, No. 1 Cheese Tart, Macarons, and Cranberry Chicken Pastry Wrap Sandwich – all freshly prepared daily using premium and quality ingredients.
