Official Joint Venture Signing Ceremony between Paradise Group and Oriental Kopi

Paradise Group, a prominent figure in Singapore’s culinary landscape with over 100 establishments globally, proudly announced a significant partnership with Oriental Kopi to open an Oriental Kopi outlet in Singapore, a beloved Malaysian coffee shop renowned for its authentic Nanyang cuisine, characterized by robust flavors and rich cultural heritage. 

This strategic alliance signifies a momentous milestone for both parties involved. For Paradise Group, this venture underscores its unwavering commitment to honoring and promoting culinary traditions. Meanwhile, Oriental Kopi, it represents a gateway to international expansion, marking its debut beyond Malaysian borders with the upcoming launch of its Singapore outlet.

Edlan Chua, Chief Operating Officer of Paradise Group, expressed excitement about this inaugural collaboration, emphasizing the shared commitment to culinary excellence. He stated, “We are delighted to embark on this joint venture with Oriental Kopi. Their dedication to quality resonates deeply with Paradise Group’s ethos, and we are confident that Singaporean diners will embrace this concept wholeheartedly. Dato’ Calvin Chan, Group Managing Director of Oriental Kopi, echoed this sentiment, describing the partnership as a significant chapter in Oriental Kopi’s journey. He commented, “Teaming up with Paradise Group marks a thrilling milestone for Oriental Kopi. With Paradise Group’s stellar track record, robust business acumen, and unwavering commitment to culinary excellence, we are poised for success in Singapore’s vibrant F&B landscape.”

Renowned for its award-winning Nanyang cuisine, Oriental Kopi has garnered widespread acclaim, attracting long queues at its outlets across Malaysia, including visits from eager food enthusiasts from neighboring Singapore.

From its humble beginnings as a single coffee shop, Oriental Kopi has expanded rapidly, boasting over 14 outlets and two merchandise stores in Johor Bahru, Kuala Lumpur, and Selangor. Under the joint venture agreement, Paradise Group will introduce Oriental Kopi to Singapore, with the inaugural outlet scheduled to open in a prime location during the third quarter of 2024. Plans are in place for the launch of eight outlets within a three-year timeframe.

Among Oriental Kopi’s must-try offerings is its namesake brew, Oriental Kopi, a rich and aromatic Nanyang-style coffee crafted from a harmonious blend of premium Arabica, Robusta, and Liberica beans. Variants such as Kopi Butter and White Coffee cater to diverse preferences, while the signature egg tarts, renowned for their creamy filling and flaky crust, have earned accolades in the Malaysia Book of Records.

Traditional favorites like Nasi Lemak, Mee Siam, and Oriental Polo Buns, known for their crispy exterior and fluffy texture, continue to captivate diners. Exclusive menu items tailored for the Singaporean market are also in development, promising an exciting culinary journey for patrons.
