Keeping up with the world’s expeditious digital transformations, NFT Pangolin, a global non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace and beauty pageant organizer, Miss Universe Malaysia Organization (“MUMO”), introduced their collaboration on the creation of NFT collectibles (also known as the “MUMO NFTs”) through a joint press conference event hosted by Zetrix, this week.
The collaboration was held in conjunction with MUMO’s announcement of the Top 15 Finalists that advanced to compete in Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 for the chance to represent their nation at the world-renowned beauty pageant, Miss Universe.
“By introducing and incorporating the concept of NFTs into the pageant, our latest move holds immense potential for not only the finalists, but for our audience and partners as well,” said Datin Elaine Daly, MUMO’s National Director, who graced the event and shared her thrill with the collaboration.
Mohamad Johan Nasir, Business Development Director (SEA) of NFT Pangolin shared, “The collaboration will spread the awareness of certain causes and can be used to infuse the positive message of women empowerment in society via all the conscious contestants,” moreover, the collectibles have a voting mechanism connected to the Pageant’s Final Competition giving advantage to the contestants to automatically earn additional voting points.
Coming back after a one-year hiatus due to the pandemic, MUMO will be revolutionizing this year’s Miss Universe Malaysia 2022 pageant by embarking on the NFT journey and introducing rewards and incentives for MUMO NFT owners on NFT Pangolin.
Proud owners will further enjoy privileges from HABIB, the premier jeweler of the pageant, and receive exclusive invites to events, including a meet-and-greet with the Queens for embarking on this journey with NFT Pangolin and MUMO.
