Maystar Beauty Sdn Bhd, through its brand Neutrovis, has successfully carried out its ‘MASK ON, SPREAD HOPE’ CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY (CSR) CAMPAIGN to all mainstream media frontliners in the Klang valley during the Raya Festivity period. In line with the Government’s encouragement to adhere to strict SOPs, Neutrovis has successfully contributed more than 50,000 premium medical face masks to appreciate all press & media frontliners in the Klang Valley.
“I would like to take this opportunity to also express my gratitude to the press and media. The work you do is essential especially during these trying times, as it keeps the country calm and updated through your news reports. We don’t know if others might consider you a frontliner, but we at Neutrovis most definitely acknowledge you as our heroes,” said Zayn Puah, Managing Director of Maystar Beauty Sdn Bhd.
Neutrovis carried out this mask distribution project because the press plays an important role during this pandemic to educate and update the public on the latest news. Oftentimes, their job requires them to expose themselves to a relatively large number of people in press conferences, media events, and interviews; with this in mind, Neutrovis did their part to ensure that media frontliners are well equipped with the proper medical face masks. These face masks are CE certified, meets the EN14683 standards, and are medically proven to be able to block out 98% of bacteria, viable, and nonviable particles in the air. Hence, they set out on their mission to deliver more than 50,000 pieces of their Hari Raya Edition face masks as a token of appreciation to the following media platforms:
The Star | China Press |
The Sun Daily | RTM |
Nanyang Siang Pau | Focus Malaysia |

Prior to the mask distribution project, the Neutrovis Hari Raya Edition face mask and the ‘Mask On, Spread Hope’ campaign was officiated by YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), and accompanied by Secretary General, YBhg Datuk Seri Hj Hasnol Zam Zam Hj Ahmad on 5 May 2021, to remind Malaysians to wear face masks to protect themselves and their loved ones as they celebrate the month of Ramadan.
Commenting on the launch event, YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Minister of Domestic Trade & Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP) said, “It is the Ministry’s mandate to remind the public ahead of Raya to act responsibly and adhere to wearing effective medical masks at all times – especially for shopping malls, retail staff, and consumers. I hope that our reminders will generate mutual understanding & cooperation amongst our society to put the mask on and spread hope to keep the nation & its economy healthy; for only by working together can we curb the pandemic. The Neutrovis Hari Raya face masks truly capture the spirit of Raya with their festive colors and patterns. Home-grown brand, Maystar Beauty has taken a commendable step into enabling people to mix and match their masks to their Raya outfits, enlightening them with a sense of freedom and personalization.”
