Food delivery platform, Hungry Malaysia, has officially rebranded itself to EASI Malaysia to kick-off 2021. Originating from Australia, EASI provides food delivery services across more than 30 cities in Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, and more. EASI Australia’s agreement to become a strategic investor of Hungry Malaysia has led to the merging of both parties to form EASI Malaysia (EASI 百家外卖).
Priscilla Wong, a well-known celebrity from Hong Kong, was invited to be the brand ambassador to celebrate the brand merging of EASI Malaysia. EASI claimed that one of the main reasons for choosing Priscilla as the brand ambassador was because she and her husband always rely on meal delivery services as they are often too busy with their TV and drama filming. Thus, Priscilla is a suitable person who has dealt with many delivery platforms and can easily distinguish the most convenient, fast, and high-quality delivery platform. EASI Malaysia claims that the number of registered users on the platform now covers nearly half of the Chinese market in Malaysia.
EASI Malaysia has attracted many merchants within just two years, and its services are available in Kuala Lumpur, Negeri Sembilan, Malacca, Johor, Pahang, Perak, Penang, Sabah, and Sarawak. EASI Malaysia offers up to 8 different payment methods, including Touch N Go, WeChat Pay, Boost Pay, Presto Pay, Alipay, Credit Card, and Debit Card. At the same time, it is also the only delivery platform that supports dual-currency payments of Ringgit Malaysia and Renminbi in Malaysia.
