Organized by D’Touch International Sdn Bhd in collaboration with MyShoppo Sdn Bhd, the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2023 promises to be a spectacular event promoting the diverse culture, beauty, and tourism of Malaysia.
This year’s pageant has a broader mission to celebrate the beauty and grace of its participants but more importantly, to promote tourism, culture, and friendship among the participating states. By fostering cultural exchange and building friendships among contestants, the pageant plays a large role in promoting unity and understanding among Malaysia’s diverse communities. Not only that, it also has the initiative to promote and showcase the rich heritage and hospitality of Malaysia to an international audience.
Pavalintang Resort, the official Resort for the pageant proudly presented the Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant 2023 as not only a glamorous event but also a celebration of Malaysia’s cultural diversity and a testament to the country’s commitment to promoting friendship within its borders and internationally.
The Miss Malaysia Tourism pageant incorporates three titles in one event, witnessing the crowning of 3 Miss Malaysia queens in one night. The titles would be Miss Malaysia Tourism 2023, Miss Malaysia Tourism Queen of the Year 2023, and Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2023.
The three Miss Malaysia Tourism winners will represent the country in their respective World Finals to be held on 25th November 2023 at Sabah International Convention Centre, Kota Kinabalu, where they will act as the country’s Tourism ambassadresses and assist in the promotion of tourism to the delegates. The pageant will witness the participation of 18 finalists from 10 states including Johor, Kedah, Kuala Lumpur, Pahang, and several others.
With its rich history dating back to 1995, it highlights the enduring nature and prestige of the Malaysian beauty contest scene, crowning three Miss Malaysia Tourism titles in pageant. The Miss Malaysia Tourism pageant has a commendable commitment to social responsibility and community engagement by organizing promotional events, visits to tourist attractions, and charitable activities to promote their contributions towards various social causes. The inclusion of activities such as visiting the Selangor King George V Silver Jubilee Fund and Ti-Ratana under the “Miss Malaysia Tourism …Because We Care” campaign demonstrates a genuine commitment to nurturing compassion and empathy among the finalists.
To add to the intrigue and excitement of this pageant, there were also significant cash prizes and sponsored gifts worth RM117,000 to highlight the pageant’s dedication to rewarding and recognizing the talents and efforts of the winners. These prizes not only provide financial support but also offer a platform for the winners to further pursue their professional goals. The Miss Malaysia Tourism Pageant has truly excelled in combining beauty, culture, and social responsibility and creates an impactful event showcasing the country’s best and brightest talents.
