On 20 January, MFBBCC Retail Mall launched LaLaport in Bukit Bintang City Center as the First SouthEast Asian Lalaport and the second outside of Japan. The all-new LaLaport mall is designed to fuse Malaysia’s touch with the distinctive Japanese DNA under the concept of “modern simplicity” and “Japanese Flavor”.
Spanning across 78,500sqm, 400 stores can be found in the Mitsui Shopping Park Lalaport Bukit Bintang City Center, where the shopping mall has provided many local favorite Japanese brands to be part of the opening. Adding to a Malaysian touch to it, LaLaport BBCC offers a variety of attractive food scenes which will tempt customers to visit the food section where “Depachika Marche”, and a casual food court called “Cafeteria” will be available for the shoppers. In addition, Zepp Kuala Lumpur, Japan’s notorious concert hall and the first-ever Zepp hall in Malaysia, will also be launched in the “entertainment hub” as LaLaport will be having music events and campaigns with Zepp. Malaysian Grand Bazaar is one of the few famous spots in the outlet as shoppers could enjoy Malaysian culture and heritage while experiencing street food, local performances, arts and crafts from the local artist.
