Kre8tif! is an initiative from Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) an agency under the Ministry of Communication & Multimedia Malaysia (KKMM) that paves the pathway for the digital content industry in Malaysia.
Their objective is to continuously spark innovation and exploration within the creative sector through technical insights, knowledge sharing, and shaping future trends locally, regionally, and internationally.
A golden opportunity to engage with creative content distributors and/or broadcasters has emerged. Calling all creative visionaries! Kre8tif! presents you with an elevator pitch to share your original, innovative, and imaginative ideas, turning your dreams into a reality by being exposed to potential investors.
All you must do is create a presentation compiled with the criteria of your creation such as project format, synopsis, mood boards, concept art, character designs, and videos (H.264 MPEG-4 mp4 file). The deadline for submission is on 10 August 2021.
Keep in mind that the criteria you fulfill are of your desire however the more there is to offer, the more it allows the panel to envision your ideas. Be it a feature, an episode, or a motion comic; the format of the project is flexible and is in your hands, go wild and have fun turning your creative ideas into an animated reality.
The project you are to submit must have at least 70% animated content so tap into your thoughts and explore the world of animation. The presentation slides will have to be in the English language and the duration of the presentation is set to 5 minutes.
Selected projects will be announced on 15 August 2021, and will be required to prepare a 5-minute pre-recorded pitch video and to present online for a Q&A session by the panel. So, what are you waiting for! Dig deep into that creative mind of yours and share your ingenious ideas now!
