JDMas supports the Government’s effort to recover the economy through Belanjawan 2021

JDMas Commerce, a platform for the Malaysia Flagship Store on JD Worldwide, part of China’s largest online & offline retailer is honoured to be selected as a partner for Belanjawan 2021, an initiative under the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). The partnership was announced by the Government of Malaysia on 5th of July 2021, and is effective from 1st July 2021 until the end of the year.

Belanjawan 2021 or B2021 features two unique initiatives to support micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), namely Go-eCommerce OnBoarding and Shop Malaysia Online (SMO). It aims to help local businesses to adopt e-commerce as the new way of doing business as well as widen their market reach.

JDMas has the capabilities and expertise to transform traditional business through its cross border eCommerce platform with JD.com, China’s largest retailer and the world’s third largest. These include digital promotions, epayments in China, cross border freight, warehouse and last mile logistics via JD’s sophisticated and holistic ecosystem in China.

MSMEs will also unleash the potential of their Malaysian brand with exposure to over 1 billion of JD’s registered users in China. This enables Malaysian brands and products to not only gain traction quickly but to scale their business in the world’s second largest economy.

Belanjawan 2021 Shop Malaysia Online campaign

Under the Go-eCommerce Now campaign, Malaysian merchants and brands can onboard and list on the Malaysia National Pavilion on the JD platform, and enjoy a rebate of RM5,000. On top of that, they also benefit from special seller subsidies and technical & sales support from JDMas’ team both in Malaysia and in China.

The MSMEs can also look forward to penetrating and growing their business with various promotional rebates and vouchers introduced under the Shop Malaysia Online initiative that JDMas will participate in. “We are proud to be the leading platform to promote Malaysian brands and products specifically in China under this initiative as the cross border eCommerce partner under Belanjawan 2021. We look forward to taking this cross border eCommerce journey with our merchants, both existing and new this year,” said Datuk Bruce Lim, Managing Director of JDMas Commerce Sdn Bhd.

MSMEs will be able to participate in various sales and marketing promotional plans for the upcoming events, especially the 916 Malaysia Day Special Promotion and the 11.11 Singles’ Day — the largest shopping festival in China.

“Our customers in China will enjoy attractive rebates and special shopping vouchers when they purchase authentic and unique Malaysian products at our Malaysia National store on JD. These campaigns will run both online, as well as offline in China. We are working closely with MDEC, Matrade and the Malaysia China Business Council (MCBC) to ensure our merchants gain as much exposure and sales traction, and these include banners, livestream, search, affiliate marketing amongst others. We will also be featured on China’s national television, Hainan n TV in September with our Ambassador to China, HE Datuk Nurshirwan Zainal Abidin to promote our brand and store for the China market”, added Lim.
