People have now adapted to a new norm and working-from-home or hybrid working is being adopted by almost every company. To accommodate the new normal and demand for work-from-home products, Jabra announced the launch of their new products – the Jabra PanaCast 50, the world’s first new-normal-ready intelligent video bar, and the Jabra PanaCast 20, a revolutionary intelligent personal camera.

The Jabra PanaCast 50 is a plug-and-play solution that delivers an immersive and engaging video-streaming experience. Unlike with other products, users need not worry about compromising audio quality for high-definition video or vice versa, as the Jabra PanaCast 50 is capable of capturing 180° Panoramic-4K videos and its audio system is powered by four powerful speakers and eight noise reduction microphones.

The Jabra PanaCast 50 is suited for office use or for meetings with multiple people in a room. The use of the three 13-megapixel cameras combined through advanced algorithms makes it so that videos are captured in a 180° field of view by live-stitching the three video streams together in real-time. A notable feature of this device is its dual video stream capability – one focusing on the meeting participants, while the second can focus on a particular area of interest, such as the built-in whiteboard.

In terms of sound, the Jabra PanaCast 50 sports eight beamforming microphones, backed up with intelligent noise reduction features that filters out disruptive sounds. The four speakers that it is equipped with have a zero-vibration stereo setup capable of filling up the room with high-definition audio, the combination makes it optimized for virtual meetings.

It shoots in 4K Ultra HD, and HDR with personalized Intelligent Zoom that always frames the main user properly and automatically corrects the lighting to ensure the best look for the user at all times. The Jabra PanaCast 20 pays prioritizes the privacy of users and even has a built-in lens cover to prevent the camera from being left “on” accidentally.

Gladys Kong, Country Manager – Malaysia & Brunei at Jabra, says, “We believe the Jabra PanaCast 50 and PanaCast 20 are fitting solutions for such extraordinary times. The new Jabra PanaCast range has been engineered to combine immersive vision and video, world-leading audio technologies, and cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence to reinvent meetings and collaboration.
