Malaysian Tourism Council (MTC) recently organized an award ceremony at the New World Hotel, Petaling Jaya. During the ceremony, MTC gave away more than 46 awards to top industry players for their excellent performance in supporting the development of the tourism industry in Malaysia. This event also marks the first collaboration between Malaysian Tourism Council (MTC) and the Selangor State Government.
This prestigious award is a tribute and the highest accolade for individuals and organizations whose outstanding contributions played a significant role in the success of Malaysia’s tourism industry.

According to Mr Uzaidi Udanis, President of Malaysia Tourism Council, he mentioned that the MTC Gold Awards is the tourism industry’s pinnacle accolade as they recognize all of Malaysia’s top players in the tourism industry. Uzaidi encouraged all organizations in the tourism and hospitality industry to boost tourism businesses as it will help to create a reputable image for the nation on a global scale.
Uzaidi also stated that, “I would like to thank and congratulate all of you who have contributed towards the survival of our tourism industry. Let’s together celebrate and honor all award achievers that have contributed towards quality service and continuous growth for our country’s tourism industry and this will act as a benchmark for the excellence and best practice in our industry.”
