MIACES Token of Appreciation Ceremony
The Malaysia International Agricommodity Expo and Summit 2022, organized by the Ministry of Plantation and Commodities (MPIC) was officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob, Prime Minister. MIACES was held from 26 to 28 July 2022 at MITEC, Kuala Lumpur which involved the participation of over 350 international companies from 39 countries.
With the support from agencies and councils under the ministry, MIACES became a medium to strengthen the network of cooperation between agri-commodity players, build a network of transactions, and explore potential investments in the respective sector. It also created a conducive business environment for industry players to penetrate the international market.

“The government is very committed with its efforts to drive the development of the agri-commodity sector to become more formidable, competitive, and market-orientated to fulfill the country’s socio-economic development,” said the Prime Minister.
MIACES 2022 which ran for three days featured the latest commodity products, services, and plantation technology all under one roof. There were also conferences, roundtable discussions, business-to-business (B2B) meetings, and prestigious awards nights to recognize the contribution of the industry players.

A ‘Hosted Buyer’ Programme was featured at the expo which helps entrepreneurs to expand their business model and create opportunities to connect with leaders in the agri-commodity sector. The B2B Virtual MIACES platform offers a one-on-one session with exporters, distributors, importers, investors, manufacturers, retailers, merchants, wholesalers and government bodies and agencies.
