Christmas Dance Show at Genting Winter Wonderland
Genting Winter Wonderland is back in town and Kr8tif Express was invited to preview the brand-new attractions at Resorts World Genting (RWG). The misty, cooling, and windy experience can truly make anyone feel like they are in a magical snowy Winter Wonderland.
Polar Bear Installation at Crockfords
Crockfords, the only Malaysian hotel rated 5 stars for four years consecutively on the Forbes Travel Guide, welcomes guests to their arctic Christmas installation which features a slew of polar bears forming a Christmas tree. Nearby, a giant Santa polar bear stands tall in the Crockfords lobby to greet families with a festive tenor.

In conjunction with Winter Wonderland 2022, Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park launched 2 new rides to excite visitors during the holiday season. The first ride called Ice Age Expedition Thin Ice brings riders to the Ice Age era where they meet animatronics of Sid and the rest of the herd from the movie as they travel land and sea to meet new prehistoric friends.

Invasion of Planet of The Apes is the second ride which is more suitable for the older crowd, depicts a battle between men and apes which puts visitors in an action-packed scene to feel the thrill. Both rides are permanent for future visitors to enjoy. Furthermore, there are street stalls at the theme park selling Christmas merchandise such as Santa hats, Christmas light sticks, and bubbles for visitors to purchase.

All iconic venues in the resort including the Kimhua Atrium, SkyWorlds Theme Park, Skytropolis Indoor Theme Park, and Gohtong Jaya Baru at SkyAvenue Complex are lit up with colorful lights and decorated with festive mistletoes and baubles to reflect the yuletide spirit. From 16th December onwards, visitors will get to Meet and Greet Santa and Miss Claus, enjoy an 8-pax Christmas Choir, and interact with Genting’s Highland Heroes at Kimhua Atrium. Finally, from 23rd December, the 19-piece Selangor Symphony Orchestra will come together to serenade and entertain guests with Christmas classics as the countdown kicks off.

The three hotspots at RWG that visitors should visit are Madison Square and Central Park where the Christmas Dance Show and Wonderland Wondertime takes place and Liberty Lane, Genting Skyworlds Theme Park to revel in snowfall every 30 minutes between 6:30 pm till 11:00 pm daily. On the Eve of Christmas and New Year’s Eve, the snowfall will go on until midnight to usher in the festivities. Do not forget to take some Instagram-worthy at the main highlight of Madison Square, the 40-foot tall Christmas tree decorated in red and gold.
