Coway Malaysia is now collaborating with Ronald McDonald Houses (RMH) to ensure that all Malaysian deserves to have an access to clean air and water. With the sponsoring air purifiers and water purifiers, it is now given to all three Ronald McDonald Houses (RMH) across Malaysia which are located at RMH UKM Hospital and RMH Tunku Azizah Hospital in Kuala Lumpur as well as RMH USM Hospital in Kubang Kerian, Kelantan.
In conjunction with World Children’s Day this month, the company aims to equip the homes with air and water purifiers, for families of paediatric patients who are seeking long-term medical treatment in hospitals, so that they can focus on taking care of their ill children.
Kyle Choi Ki Ryong, Managing Director of Coway Malaysia, mentioned that “RMHC is already doing so much to help these sick children and their families. We believe strongly in supporting their cause as these children are our future generation and the least we could do is help complete the homes with clean indoor air and pure water, assuring them that Coway stands together with them, so that they can stay healthy and strong for their children,”
“This sponsorship is also in line with Coway Malaysia’s We Stand as One campaign − we believe that we can overcome challenges by coming together as a community. One of the ways of coming together is to help each other, especially those in need. No one gets left behind. With that, I hope that our sponsorship to RMHC will make a difference in the lives of those seeking accommodation there,” he said.
Mohd Nasri Mohd Nordin, General Manager of RMHC Malaysia stated that “We are truly grateful to Coway Malaysia for the product sponsorship. We at RMHC also believe in the importance of clean air and clean water, which is a basic necessity for all. The families living in our houses are already under a lot of stress with their children needing long-term treatment so every little bit helps. Providing them with purified air and healthy water is a very thoughtful gesture as this simple act of kindness will go a long way for these families.”
