Chery Auto Malaysia is poised for a dynamic year ahead, marked by ambitious plans to expand its dealership network and introduce new products to the Malaysian market. Building upon the successful launch of the brand in mid-2023, Chery is steadfast in its commitment to solidifying its presence and elevating the driving experience for Malaysian consumers.
“It has been an interesting year for Chery, from the day we launched our products in July to delivering our vehicles to our customers two months after (September), Chery Malaysia achieved more than 4,500 units in terms of customer delivery vehicle registration in the year 2023, ” said Chery Malaysia’s Vice President, Lee Wen Hsiang.
Furthermore, Chery unveiled plans for an expansive nationwide expansion initiative, aiming to bolster its network to encompass 48 outlets by year-end, thereby enhancing accessibility and solidifying its foothold across diverse regions.
Chery Malaysia’s Network Development Director, Soon Boon Ping, stated “By at the end of 2024, we hope to have at least 48 outlets in operation and that will also contribute to 70% increase in our 3S and 4S centers,” said Soon adding that the strategic move aims to enhance accessibility for customers and further establish Chery’s presence across various regions nationwide.”
In Chery’s forthcoming offerings for 2024, insights were also provided into the highly anticipated launch of the Omoda E5 and Tiggo 7 Pro. Additionally, a new model slated for introduction in the fourth quarter aims to offer affordability without compromising on quality, thereby aligning with the evolving needs of its clientele.
