Al-Ikhsan Sports recently celebrated its 30th Anniversary at IOI City Mall, Putrajaya on 20 July 2023 with many new and exciting announcements to further expand their enterprise and its plans to give back to the community. 

Over the past seven years, Al-Ikhsan has recorded over RM500M in sales and has increased its store network by 50%. As a result, the brand has grown to become the #1 sports retailer in Malaysia. Ekuinas, a well-known government-linked PE fund that came in as a partner 7 years ago was highlighted as a significant factor in helping Al-Ikhsan grow into what it is today. 

The period since Al-Ikhsan and Ekuinas built their relationship saw Football Republic, Sports Warehouse, etc signed deals with Liverpool football club and Umbro, which expanded their distribution network by 50%.

Additionally,  one of Al-Ikhsan’s top priorities is to give back to the community, inspired by the founder’s late mother, Hajar Siti Mariam. Through various Corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs, more than 50,000 people have benefitted from this initiative.
