BOXO Yellow Charity Boney Animal Boxer

Homegrown e-commerce boxer shorts brand run by animal lovers, BOXO, initiated its campaign to aid Society’s Prevention of Cruelty towards Animal Selangor’s (SPCA Selangor) Stray-Free Selangor (SFS) program, to reduce unnecessary birth of strays in Malaysia.

As part of the campaign, BOXO will be donating 10% of profits earned from the sales of their latest boxer shorts, the Yellow Charity Boney, to SPCA Selangor, to fund their initiatives towards spaying community animals, stray dogs & cats, as well as owned pets. SPCA claims that the SFS program is a humane and effective method in preventing excessive growth in the number of stray animals.

“A 2019 Euromonitor report indicated that the population of cats and dogs were at about 795,000 and 402,500 respectively in 2019. There should be more now. Assuming that 10% of the population were matured female strays and that is a very conservative breakdown, they could have possibly given birth to another 7,155,000 kittens and 4,347,000 puppies by now. We are glad that private organisations such as BOXO are supporting the effort,” said SPCA Selangor Chairperson, Christine Chin-Radford.

Co-founder of BOXO, Alvin Ting, said, “Stray cats and dogs are increasingly becoming an issue in Malaysia. The number of animal abuses is also becoming more rampant. We hope that our effort can contribute positively towards combating overpopulation of stray cats and dogs.”

The Yellow Charity Boney Animal Boxer retails at RM25, visit https://boxogoboxer.com/products/yellow-charity-boney-animal-boxer to show your support.
