AOC’s New Global Brand Strategy

Renowned gaming monitor brand, AOC, launched the ‘AGON by AOC’ as its global brand strategy to showcase its enhanced portfolio and range of gaming ecosystems that welcomes players at all levels of ability. The word “AGON”, refers to an ancient Greek word for intense competition, well suited to define the brand’s concepts and attributes. 

AOC’s hierarchy will now be in the sequence of the following sub-brands – ‘AGON’, ‘AGON PRO’ and ‘AOC Gaming’, each differentiated by its unique features, designs, and target users. Gone are the days that AOC targets an exclusive audience of esports professionals, a new era has begun to suit more casual gamers at any skill level. 


The ‘AGON by AOC’ gaming lines will appeal to audiences with a growing passion to unleash their competitive spirit, as well as beginners looking to enter the learning circle of competitive gaming. Being announced as the global market share leader in gaming monitors for two years in a row in 2020 by the International Data Corporation (IDC), AOC claims that its brand strategy is a natural evolution.
