AMCARE & ‘PLATFORM APPS’ TO PROVIDE WORK OPPORTUNITIES ON THE EAST COAST

Amcare Agency (AMCARE), a Bumiputera company, is to handle zakat from government, private, corporate agencies on behalf of Majlis Agama Islam dan Adat Melayu Terengganu (MAIDAM). They signed an MoU with Platform Apps Sdn. Bhd to form a mutual understanding with the management and services of MYCAR3.0 on the east coast.

By using AMCARE Mutiara Healthcare, professional medical officers will be providing health services ranging from physical examination, vision, hearing, obstructive sleep apnea, neurology/musculoskeletal, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, and diabetes examination.

CEO of AMCARE, Dato’ Haji Mohamad Zahari bin Harun has led the singing of the MOU and agreed on four matters:

  1. The application and the renewal of the local car license (PSV) through AMCARE Mutiara Healthcare, will undergo a health check-up with the medical officers for MyCar’s drivers.
  2. AMCARE offices in Kuala Terengganu, Marang, and Besut are used for management, administration, marketing, training, and customer service for MyCar.
  3. AMCARE will provide additional insurance to protect the drivers of MyCar from accidents, losses, vehicle damages, and driver’s protection.
  4.  AMCARE will be handling the registrations for the insurance plan and Takaful under the name of “I-Tenang” as they partnered with Hong Leong MSIG Takaful (HLMT).

Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Abdullah bin Taib, Chairman of AMCARE, stated that the MyCar 3.0 will be the source of working opportunities for the community, especially for the underprivileged groups. The involvement of AMCRE will provide the east coasts with the perks of  MyCar 3.0 as many services will be beneficial to the drivers and users of Mycar.
