Singer, actress and TV host, the multi-talented, multifaceted and astoundingly hardworking, Wani Kayrie, releases her first ever single under Rocketfuel Entertainment entitled ‘Jangan Terlepas Pandang’ which was composed by MFMF together with Asyraf Nasir.
Due to the pandemic, Wani had a hard time producing this single as the Movement Control Order (MCO) period which is still taking place nationwide and with long hiatus, it is finally time for her to shine with Rocketfuel. “At last, my wait to release a single with my new management is finally met. I’m just so thankful and overwhelmed with gratitude for being given the chance to be a part of the Rocketfuel family and coming out with a new song,” said the 21-year-old artiste.
Wani past achievements has made Malaysia proud as she participated in World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in 2012 in Hollywood, California, America, winning 1 gold medal, 2 silver medals, 1 bronze medal and the Hollywood Industry Award. Also not to miss out on being fourth-place winner of singing competition Big Stage 2018 and also Dansa Dan Sing 2020.
She explained the process of making the song as she said, “Jangan Terlepas Pandang is my own narrative in a song. After almost 10 years of being active in the entertainment industry, I’m now more matured and have my own stand. Maybe as a singer, I still feel that not much recognition has been given to me and it’s okay. I’m still here, I’m still breathing and still making music. I just hope more people will open up their eyes and just hear me out”.
MFMF explained, “We had to do everything online. Even the recording process for Jangan Terlepas Pandang was done without the presence of both singer and management team at the recording studio.
