In the spirit of Christmas, the Perak State Government treated about 400 underprivileged children in Perak to experience the UK Bubble Show organised by Persatuan Seni Tarian & Pendidikan Antarabangsa (PSTPA).
Major Chelvee, social and community service officer of Salvation Army says, “Events like these are important for our children’s mental health as it brings hope and adds joy to them. We want to continue to provide a positive quality of life so that they can give back to the community. We truly appreciate the efforts of the organisers to make this event possible for everyone in Ipoh”
Starring multiple world record holder, Eran The Bubble Man, the UK Bubble show is the first of its kind in Malaysia. The Bubble Show features a unique blend of magic, storytelling and bubble art to interact with audiences for 90 minutes. The main highlight of this event saw Mr Eran setting a new world record with fellow audiences – the most people fit into bubbles in 30 seconds.
The entire event is in-line with the Perak’s Government vision to promote Perak as a hub for edu-cultural tourism. It also celebrates and reintroduces Ipoh as the centre of arts, culture and edu-tainment.
Audrey Kwan, President of PSTPA said “I believe arts and culture play a great role in human development. Educational events such as the UK Bubble Show brings international exposure to our children, builds confidence and stimulates creativity; and can be linked to freedom in education while promoting a positive standard of living”
