Spearheading the beauty and fashion industry with hard work and perseverance after the COVID-19 pandemic, Miss Chinese World Sdn. Bhd has returned bigger and bolder with the “Miss Chinese World 2023 Grand Finals.” The Miss Chinese World Pageant is known to be a celebration and a tribute to Chinese culture, values, and traditions – bringing back the roots of Chinese history dating back thousands of years and translated on stage for the participants and audience, to remember.
Not only that, this pageant acts as a platform to promote peace, goodwill, friendship, and tourism; strengthening the bilateral relationships of the participants amongst each other by sharing, educating, and exchanging knowledge of their respective backgrounds and history.

Over the past week, the finalists have been on an adventure by engaging in many Chinese-culture-related activities including visiting local food eateries and a city tour of famous Chinese landmarks – Petaling Street, Thean Hou Temple, and the Chan She Shu Yuen Clan Ancestral Hall Temple.
The finalists also made an appearance at Gintell’s roadshow in IOI City Mall as well as took a site visit to some of their sponsor’s outlets such as Prife International; Why Not Studio; Mercato; Cold Storage; Carlo Rino; KKEM Advisory; ONE DOC, and Bio-Essence. Through the city tour and sponsor site visits, the finalists were able to grasp the history and background of Chinese culture as well as gain an insight into the different industries their sponsors ventured in.

Only one out of the 17 finalists will be crowned Miss Chinese World 2023. Apart from that, 13 Subsidiary Titles adopted by the sponsors are up for competition between the participants. Furthermore, Peninsula College has allocated scholarships worth RM75,000 for the Top 3 Winners (Miss Chinese World 2023, Miss Chinese World 1st Runner Up & Miss Chinese World 2nd Runner Up) of Miss Chinese World 2023 to pursue their education in various courses offered by the college.
